COMMISSION FAQ
How do I request a commission?
There are two ways:
1) If the item you want is out of stock, you can click "Commission this item" and we will custom-make it for you.
2) Through our commissions page! Just fill in the information about the item you want, then add the order to cart as usual.
I want to order a commission and an item that's in stock together. Can I?
You can add commissions to any regular order, it will just take a little longer to process and ship. If you don't want to wait for your non-commission items, feel free to submit separate orders.
I don't know how to get a picture of the sprite I want.
We have lots of images, so a picture of the sprite you want is not required when ordering a commission. When we invoice you, we'll attach the image of the sprite to confirm that we got the right one.
OK, I ordered my commission. Now what?
Within 24 hours or so, we will have reviewed your request and determined how much it will cost (materials + labor). You will receive an invoice. If both parties agree on the price, we will begin work after payment has been received.
How long does it take?
Generally we will be able to finish within a few days, unless there is a particularly large backlog or we need to order specific colors, in which case we will warn you of the situation when we send the invoice.
How do you determine the price of the commission?
The price is mostly based on the size. Other factors like the number of colors and shading detail may make a small difference. In general, the price will be similar to our premade items of the same size.
I want to commission something REALLY REALLY BIG.(EG: "I want to commission a scene with Samus Aran fighting Mother Brain") Can you make it?
Probably, although please keep in mind that the cost of a sprite will go up relative to the number of colors and size, and it may take us much longer than a normal commission.
Can I commission something not from a video game? (EG: "I want a sprite of Fruits Basket")
Sure, as long as you can provide an image for it! If you got the image from a place like deviantART or a fan-site, do your best to make sure the original artist is OK with it, though.
***As a general note, we reserve the right to refuse any commission request for any reason (profanity, etc)
